Red Pepper Squirrel

After scouting the best locations for Emily and Jarrad's shots, Aaron and I went up the street from Patriot's Point Link to the Red Pepper Squirrel. It seems that "Lil' Mama" named it after a squirrel who jumped out of the bushes and ate a red pepper. The squirrel went into a tirade and started shaking vigorously. It went back into the bushes and to Lil' Mama's' surprise the squirrel returned for the rest of the pepper. Thus the name of her restaurant Red Pepper Squirrel. Aaron and I loved the food and it energized us for Emily and Jarrad's wedding. Enjoy the pics below, and don't forget to visit Lil' Mama's restaurant.

It has been such a pleasure photographing Emily and Jarrad. They are such a wonderful couple and their Charleston wedding was magnificent. Held at Patriot Point Links we were blessed with a little wind but no rain, which was earlier forcasted. There was so many candid moments that were documented and captured. TK & Monnie

Magic 98.9 Morning Show with TK & Monnie had a chance to talk about my work. You see..I photographed TK's kids. Tammy(wife), Tyler(son), Jordan(daughter), and Ellie(little sister) and I went downtown Greenville and just had a blast. Photographing children is so important. Unlike studio photography this is more stylish and contemparary, thus children and teens are more open to the idea and comfortable with a downtown shoot. Here are a few of the pics and the audio from the Morning SHow on Magic 98.9.

SAVING KATIE

Okay the title of this post is a little misleading, but I have to share how I “saved” Katie. While I was driving, Katie was in the passenger seat. Nathan was stretched out in the back of my Sequoia. We were talking wedding, when a truck sped in reverse out of a parking lot. My defensive driving skills took over and immediately diverted a could-be accident. Hey it was on Katie’s side and by all means nothing can happen to the bride, right?
Anyway I had a great time with Katie and Nathan they are a wonderful couple and play off of each others personality. Ahhhh to be in love. For the slideshow, I picked an up tempo song that fits their personality. Katie picks at Nathan but don’t forget “He’s on your Side” Katie!!!

106.3 WGVC

I had a great time photographing and sponsoring the Connection Reception for 106.3 WGVC. I was surrounded by all these fabulous women and had a wonderful time conversating and aquainting myself with everyone. The reception was a hit and here are the photographs. Check out the cookies!!!!

Kissing on Sunday

Sarah came into the home studio and we had a great time discussing her wedding details. However plans changed and Sarah and Harris eloped on SuperBowl Sunday. During our meeting Sarah expressed that she didn't want kissing photographs, and I agreed. Fortunately she forgot to tell the groom!!! So when the minister said "You may now kiss the bride", Sarah went in for a quick peck, Harris wanted something entireley different and picked Sarah off the ground and kissed her three more times berfore letting her go. I absolutely loved this moment.
