The Knot

Picture_2_2

So the other day I get an email and surprisingly enough theknot.com has asked if they can use one of my images for their regional pages. What an honor. I was blown away. Everything is so positive and I am sooo counting all my blessings. I will announce the photo and the link once it is posted. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in my business and who have believed in my abilities. It is you that strives, aspires and motivates me.

I will be speaking at PartnerCon on Tuesday, May 8th, Room 2 at 2:40PM. Mark your Calandars and I look forward to seeing everyone in Chicago. If you are interested in dining at Sola Restaurant Tuesday evening let me know. I would love to make some reservation somewhere. Sola was voted Best New Chicago Restaurant 2006 by Chicago Magazine. See you soon!!!!Picture_1

Kara Thomas

Kara has been steadily working for the last month here and I am so pleased. She was attending Pratt Institute in NYC and is will be attending a local university next semester. She is very artistic and has an eye for detail.

We took a much needed break and did lunch and a little photo shoot downtown.Mk017053

The Coolest Roomates

Allanandme

While I was staying in Vegas I had a chance to meet up with a couple of close friends; Allan Zepeda and Fred Egan. We shot together up in New York last year and I was sure glad to see them. These guys are cool rising stars in the photography world, and am glad to call them my friends.

I had a monster layover at the airport and took this photo out of boredom.

VEGAS

Img_1681 You know everytime I travel away I am so ready to get back to South Carolina. I just love it here. But Vegas was cool. I went to Vegas for the WPPI and DWF conferences and trade show. I am always trying to stay in touch with the latest products and services. This way I can pass them on to my clients!!!! Okay but I had to make time for some poker. My Great Grandmother Ida taught me how to play as a young child. I guess noone else would play with her. Anyway little did she know that I would become a novice. I won somewhere around $600 in Vegas and thought about Ida. She was making sure the dealer never got a good hand. Sending down her luck from heaven. :) If you go to Vegas remember to take chapstick and the Westin not only has a awesomely comfortable bed they also have lotion in the bathroom. Yes the air is a little dry. So prepare. A cool place to eat was in the Bellagio. The Bellagio Cafe has hosted stars like James Woods, George Clooney, & Ashton Kutcher. I ordered the swordfish and it was fab!!!! I wanted to eat at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant but my friends decided elsewhere. The Eiffel Tower is by reservation only and costs $40 a plate. But hey how many times are you going to roll the dice in Vegas. If you need a quick bite try the Sbarro's in Bally's. Great pizza and a huge slice of cheese is only $3.25. Img_1755 I love the night shots in Vegas. The water show outside the Bellagio is a must see. This from the Eiffel Tower which is $9 per person to ride. Img_1786 The Eiffel Tower in Vegas is a half scale model of it's counterpart in Paris, France. Anyway, hope you like following my travels. Next stop April 21 Miami. Here is Jos based out of Portland. Also finding some time to shoot after workshops an tradeshow stuff. Img_1710 Img_1729 Img_1730 Img_1740
