It was at Teisha and Brian's wedding in Charleston, SC where I discovered the reason why I shoot weddings and the purpose of my business. Teisha hired a celebrity and Grace Ormonde approved make up artist who flew in for the occasion. She did an absolutly wonderful job and when the makeup session was done Teisha leaned and peaked at a mirror on the wall. I immediately took the photograph and knew at that very moment I captured something amazing. I looked down at the image and caught my breathe. Teisha saw my reaction and asked to see the photograph. I showed it to her, and Teisha began to cry. That was not just a decisive moment for the bride but for me as well. Teisha looked in the mirror as all humans do, simply for approval. None of course, more important than a bride on her wedding day. So when the photograph revealed how gorgeous and beautiful Teisha was, it answered the important question of how she looked. The photograph also reveals a hint of a smile as she admires a glance in the mirror. My passion comes from making brides feel just as Teisha did at this very moment. Yes I love what I do, but it's much deeper than that. As seen by the photograph below.
